What could be better on a Tuesday then Wine, Live Jazz and all for a great cause. Every Tuesday the Highwood & Highland Complex becomes the best outdoor jazz and wine venue in Hollywood.

The Music and Merlot will continue, every Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00pm through September 4th. Each event is FREE. Wine tasting donation is $10.00. All proceeds are to benefit Project Angel Food. The line up includes some of your favorite artist and new ones you will love. It is such an awesome way to start your week as a local or to experience if you are visiting us! Here are the groovy acts coming.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association is partnering with KCRW for the 9th consecutive year to present KCRW’s World Music Festival at the Hollywood Bowl. It really is a privilege to live in Los Angeles and be able to experience such diversity in music! As a Brazilian, I definitely was delighted to see that Carlinhos Brown, a famous singer from Brazil, came to perform at the Bowl for this season’s festival. Some of the other upcoming shows are Reggae Night with Burning Spear on August 12, Macy Gray, Zap Mama & The Brazilian Girls on August 26, and Underworld on September 9 to name a few. VERY DIVERSE! There still are many Sundays to go, and it is worth it~~It’s really a great time with the best quality music and an enrichment of culture in your life. I just love summer festivals!! =)
