We are thrilled to welcome Helen Storer to the Renaissance Hollywood family as the Spa Director of our upcoming Spa Luce.  We are in the final stages of production for Spa Luce, which will be located on the fifth floor, adjacent to the pool. Helen’s experience brings her to our hotel with a wealth of knowledge about the spa industry and some great ideas on how to make the most out of the spa experience. We have some very exciting plans in store for the spa including high-end skincare lines and some celebrity-inspired treatments.

Previously Spa Director at The Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland, WA, Helen has worked in management in the spa and fitness industries for over five years. Befitting our location, Helen began her career in the music industry, performing with many well-known musicians throughout the world and with her own band. That experience led her to find her calling into the business world with positions that allowed her to follow her passion for fitness and health, finding success in pursuing a career that supports her interests and knowledge.

On Thursday, September 13th, 2007 at 9:00pm the vibe will be at the Virgin Music Store at Hollywood and Highlands. Kanye West will be signing his much anticipated album, “GRADUATION“, at our very own Complex. There has been a lot of buzz around the hip-hop world for this release date. The battle of CD sales between Kayne West and 50 Cent has created a bit of friendly competition to say the least. The style of these artist and the audience they connect with are vastly different but watching this race for the top selling album will be interesting. “I’d rather come out on a day like that, up against 50 — where people are excited about going to the stores and it’s an event and people talk about it — and be #2 on that day rather than come out and be #1 on a day nobody cares about,” West said.
