Raves from the LA Times!

Spa LuceWhile we don’t like tooting our own horn too often, sometimes we can’t help it. As a few of you know, we have a spa. It’s called Spa Luce. Here’s its website (LINK). You should go there. It’s new, it’s fun, and it features a dish from our spa menu!

It just so happens that the LA Times sent one of their dear writers over to check out our spa menu - the many delightful pieces of cuisine as prepared by our premier restaurant Twist. I’ll let the writer, Kathy McDonald, speak for herself:

“Next to the pool deck under Hollywood & Highland’s faux Babylonian arch, this newly opened spa serves up cold plates such as quinoa salad and twin melon soup. Relax during the hammam ritual that features a Moroccan mint tea and clay cleanse and a coffee and olive stone scrub.”

- Los Angeles Times, June 26, 2008

You can read the rest of McDonald’s Spa Food Roundup here (LINK).

The rest of the Spa Menu is certainly worth checking out. Our chefs at Twist have really done a bang-up job putting this together, with fresh concoctions like the Poached Pear Salad, the Ahi Spring Roll, and the Grilled Shrimp Martini. Everything is healthy and delicious, and a great way to complement a treatment at our new Spa Luce. You can read the complete spa menu here (LINK).

This is Bruce, signing off.

    Bruce,
The Blog is a great idea and I’ve enjoyed reviewing archived columns. Few GMs have the creative initiative and are willint to find the time. I have the good fortune of staying a night at your property later this week with my son before he returns to college. Reading your blog has me looking forward to our visit. Congrats on the LA Times write up.
    Cheers.
