Midnight Club: Los Angeles is a videogame. I have played videogames, like Pong, and Frogger, and Asteroids. I hear this Midnight Club is a slightly more sophisticated videogame than Pong. Apparently, comparing these two games is like comparing apples with, um, super space-alien oranges. Or so I hear.
Here’s what’s important: Midnight Club: LA, the fifth game in the franchise, is coming out on October 7, 2008 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. I have no idea what I just said, but I’m sure it sounded very clever. Here’s a trailer for the game:
The game will feature photo-realistic graphics and 3D renderings of the best roadways and landmarks of Los Angeles. This means that all you players out there, as you cruise up and down Highland Boulevard, you’re going to see the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa in fully 3D high-definition splendor. Yes, our dear hotel is making its first supporting role as a Hollywood landmark in a major videogame. Um, w00t!
You can find more information about the game, watch other videos, and see tons of screenshots from the game at the official website (link). Me, I’m just going to go beat my highscore on Tetris.
This is Bruce, signing off.
