About a year ago, I stumbled across a song that could not be defined.  The style was a mash up of dance hall, Electro and Punk with overtones and undertones of beats &  bass.  Her style is non-conformist, she is definitely a hot and heavy contender as a break through artist. Santi White a.k.a  SANTOGOLD, once a private school girl from Philly is now Brooklyn’s rising star.  Although she is on the verge of epic explosion, her talented hand has been in the mix for some time.  Producing with the likes of Rex, Gza, Spank Rock and writing songs for Lily Allen, her list is quite extensive and so is the talent she brings.

So, it is with great anticipation that she will be performing Monday, June 9th at 6:00pm in the Hollywood and Highlands Central Courtyard.  Following her performance will be her CD Signing at the Virgin Megastore. Finally, an artist who has brought back something that is missing in most of the music today…SOUL.

It’s one of my favorite times here in Hollywood. The 5th year of California summer nights, vino and jazzy vibes.  Every Tuesday from June 3rd - August 26th from 7pm -9pm, join some of the countries smoothest jazz artist in the central courtyard of the Hollywood & Highland Complex.  You will see the young and the young at heart savoring the music and the merlot as the performers set the stage for a hot night of rhythm. To make this evening complete, have dinner at TWIST.  The ultra-stylish resturant at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa.   The atmosphere is cool and the food is deliciously hot.
