Tomorrow’s Indie Thursday – Elyse & The Aftermath

This week’s Indie Thursday in the Lobby Bar will feature Elyse & the Aftermath. In an era over saturated with Britney’s, Lady Ga Ga’s, and other power pop females, Elyse proves that chicks can still hold their own in the rock scene. With Mark Needham’s incomparable mixing (The Killers, Fleetwood Mac, Green Day) and Grundman Mastering (Thriller etc…), their self-titled album, The Aftermath, was just released this April to rave reviews.

While enjoying the music, guests are encouraged to try the delicious appetizers, delightful entrees, and handcrafted signature cocktails available from the Lobby Bar.

All ages are welcome to these family-friendly events and, unlike a lot of venues in Hollywood, there’s no cover. That means free for everyone!

Celebrate Father’s Day With Jazz Hands

It’s Father’s Day on June 20th, and if you don’t have any great ideas yet, here’s a good one: Take him to our KJAZZ Father’s Day Brunch and show him how much you appreciate him; let him relish the all-you-can-eat high-end breakfast buffet and the all-you-can-drink mimosas, champagne, and caffeine to the glorious tunes of Jazz legend Ernie Andrews. Sound good?

Andrews has been in the Jazz business for over 56 years, and his saucy style and general manner reflect his debonair personality and life experience. He is a well-seasoned entertainer who is a consummate professional and still steps to the stage with vigorous energy. His last performance at our KJAZZ Sunday Brunch sold out beforehand, so you can guarantee Andrews’ return is going to be a rip-roaring good time!

The all-you-can-eat breakfast features omelets, Belgian waffles, eggs Benedict, New York Prime strip, Honey Glazed Ham, tomato bisque, grilled swordfish, and much, much more. Read the complete menu right here.

The KJAZZ brunch is held in Twist Restaurant, and runs from 11 am to 2 pm. For reservations, call 323.491.1000 or visit www.jazzandblues.org.
